“We really appreciate all of your efforts with the recent fundraising event at St Michael's parish in Remuera. Not only in raising a generous donation for The Hearing House, but also for raising awareness for the work that we do here with deaf and hearing impaired children who have cochlear implants and hearing aids.”

- Mary Jane Boland (Fundraising & Communications Manager, The Hearing House)

Thank You, Wairua Sinfonietta

The Wairua Sinfonietta played very musically and its members were enjoying themselves as much as the audience. Technical difficulties in the Elgar were mastered very well, and conductor Elisabeth Lau was inspiring and in full control. The program provided a nice variety with Stamitz’ Clarinet Concerto, masterfully presented by Donald Nicholls, Elgar’s beautiful Serenade, the NZ premiere of ‘Mokoia’ and finally the entertaining Toy Symphony by Haydn.
I applaud the orchestra and look forward to their next concerts!
